I’ve just got back from 5 blissful days at our first ever Tassie Yoga & Bushwalking Retreat.
The rain was quite meditative as we sat inside by the fire or at the dining table looking out. I wish I’d taken a few more photos to capture those moments but I was too busy being in the moment and enjoying the sauna.
I was a bit worried when I saw the weather forecast… “Rain, possibly heavy” sounded a bit ominous for our first day.
I picked up Dorothee at the airport, then picked up Narelle and Amy at Hobart’s waterfront on Thursday morning and we began the drive down to Cygnet Bay. The sky was fully clouded in, we couldn’t see Mount Wellington.
After a yummy lunch and some time settling in, we headed off for our first walk – Snug Falls.
Here’s a picture of the yoga room at our beautiful accommodation (and the view over to Cygnet Bay):
And, here we are at Hartz Mountains.
Notice how colour coordinated these two are!
On our last day, we went for a walk on Mount Wellington.
I’ll be hosting this retreat again next year from 26-29 February. Email Bernie or Jen (info@flourishyoga.com.au) to reserve your spot – there are only 8 spots available and I’m sure they will book out.
Thanks to Narelle, Dorothee and Amy for sharing a wonderful 5 days with me.
